Addameer Prisoners’ Support and Human Rights Association (Addameer). A Palestinian institution that supports Palestinian political prisoners held in Israeli and Palestinian prisons. Offers free legal aid to political prisoners, advocates for their rights at the national and international level, and works to end torture and other violations of prisoners’ rights through monitoring, legal procedures and solidarity campaigns. Al-Haq. This Palestinian organization monitors and documents human rights abuses by both sides of the Israel-Palestine conflict (including instances of abuse and torture of Palestinian children). Issues reports on its findings and produces detailed legal studies. Al-Haq
Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society Canter. Offers creative programming and enrichment for children and youth within the Aida U.N. Refugee Camp, Alrowwad Culture and Arts Society
B’Tselem, The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories. Devotes itself primarily to documenting Israeli violations of Palestinians’ human rights in the West Bank (including East Jerusalem) and the Gaza Strip. With a view to helping minimize such violations, B’Tselem exposes the injustice, violence and dispossession inherent in the military occupation through publication of statistics, testimonies, eyewitness accounts, video footage and authoritative reports. www.btselem.org

Defense for Children International–Palestine. Provides legal support and advocacy for Palestinian children. A leader in advocating for the rights of Palestinian children in Israeli military detention. Defense for Children International-Palestine
EAPPI (World Council of Churches). Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel. Organizes volunteers from around the globe to accompany children walking to and from school, to help reduce the level of intimidation and violence by Israeli settlers and soldiers. EAPPI
HaMoked, Center for Defense of the Individual. An Israeli organization providing legal services and support for Palestinian children and adults deprived of their rights under Israel’s military occupation. These efforts include research and publication of detailed reports concerning abuse of children in Israel’s wide-ranging network of military prisons. http://www.HaMoked.org/
International Solidarity Movement (ISM). Provides an international presence to help reduce levels of day-to-day harassment and violence, especially when documenting events with cameras. ISM volunteers accompany farmers to their fields and reside with or near families whose homes are threatened with eviction or demolition by Israeli military or harassment by Israeli settlers. Military Court Watch. Provides legal services, including litigation in court, for Palestinian children arrested and detained by Israeli military forces. Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund. Provides free medical care for injured and sick Arab children in Middle East, including children of Gaza. PCRF

UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East. Provides essential support and services to some five million Palestinian refugees, including education, health care, relief and social services, refugee camp infrastructure and improvement, microfinance and emergency assistance.
